No, there is no reason to take these pills if you are not lactose intolerant. They contain lactase, and if you produce enough of this enzyme you don't need this.

Lactaid pills are basically made of lactase which is naturally produced by the digestive system to digest lactose. These pills are for those people that are lactose intolerant or those persons with the inability of their digestive system to produce the lactase compound. With this pill taken, they could now take in dairy products like milk and ice cream.

Lactaid pills include the enzyme lactase which is needed to digest the milk sugar lactose. It doesn't have other benefits besides from helping digest dairy products.

they can and do help with other problems. helping you if you have diarrhea or just need some comfort eating your favorite foods. take as prescribed or take as directed if its an otc should help just tfine.
