You don't cure Aspergers Syndrome, it is a pervasive developmental disorder. The only thing you can do is try to treat some of the symptoms. Probably the best treatment is working on teaching him specific social skills that he lacks. The lack of social skills is probably what is annoying everyone.

Asperger's is part of the autistic spectrum; it can't be cured, only treated. Helpful treatments include behavioral therapy, and making an Individualized Educational Plan with the school's special education department.

Aspergers Syndrome is rarely cured, but it can be helped. Often interpersonal anxiety and the anxiety that comes from change of routine contributes to odd, rigid, emotionally intense behavior. It will help to give your nephew space and avoid changing his routine. Try not to show your annoyance with him.

Your nephew should be in a school program for children with aspergers. He also needs to see a psychiatrist and psychologist to set up treatment and a behavior plan.

Unfortunately, there is no effective treatment for Aspergers' Syndrome. This condition is poorly understood and, like many autism spectrum disorders, no treatment has proven to be effective. Counseling with a mental health professional stands the best chance of helping but, often, there is little that can be done.

A person with Asperges Syndrome can be treated by rehabilitation. The person will be able to lead a good life if he is made to live normally among ordinary people. Some methods to try out are pyschotherapy, parent education and training, behavioral modification and social skills training.
