A loss in balance can be noticed in behavior like tilting of the head, not being able to walk in a straight line and even falling over. The animal can get trouble seeing, or even go blind completely, and lose bowl and bladder control. Even seizures may occur.

My best dog Fuzzy had a stroke when I was in high school. I awoke to him screaming in my ear, and he couldn't move his back legs. Essentially, it is the same as humans who have suffered from a stroke. He could not even go to the bathroom since the stroke affected his back legs.

Your dog will probably look sick. She will probably be numb and have no feeling in one side of her body. For example her face will probably be droopy on one side but it will look normal on the other. It's possible she could recover. You should take her to the vet.
