A gifted kindergarten enters class already recognizing all letters of the alphabet, phonetic awareness of sounding out the letters, and on the cusp of reading. A gifted kindergarten student can count to 100 and add and subtract small numbers in his or her head. He or she also has sagacious social skills; knowing when to talk and when to listen.

Learning quickly, trying to work ahead of the rest of the class, getting in trouble at school due to boredom.

Children are considered gifted children when they have high IQ's. If your child is testing at 2nd grade levels in Kindergarden then chances are they are gifted. Gifted children have to be challenged. They find things extremly easy that other children their age may think is hard. They can figure things out easily.

The child"s role model in that stage is parents they will follow all the activities of the parents ann in the school they will easily pick up their knowledge
