The cheapest TV's are generally used TV's. You can pick one up off of craigslist, or any local thrift shop for quite cheap. They can be good, or bad.

JVC are good and cheap t.v's that you can buy. You can also buy the regular no name brand that's available. To be honest, cheap t.v.s are not always bad. If you don't have much money you are better off buying the cheap brand and getting a warranty on it.

The cheapest T.Vs are not always the best choice. A cheap T.V will have a resolution of only 480p which is normal for most non HD T.V's

Cheap is matter of debate, as some consider a hundred dollars cheap, and others consider five hundred cheap, but the rule of thumb is always the same, "You get what you pay for." The more you're willing to spend, the better picture quality and resolution you're going to get. Don't cheap out if you can afford to.
