A DAT recorder records audio in a digital format for later retrial at a quality higher than a traditional analog audio cassette. That particular model is a rack mount DAT Recorder with copious inputs and outputs for use in high end audio systems.

A DAT recorder helps with all your multimedia functions. It has analog inputs and outputs, channel separation and headphone capability; it can also weed out interference. The tape speed is between 9 mm and 93 db sampling rate. A DA-30 would be a nice addition for anyone who does sound and film editing or online DJing for example.
