The gemstones are as follows. January is Garnet. February is Amethyst. March is Aquamarine. April is Diamond. May is Emerald. June is Pearl. July is Ruby. August is Peridot. September is Sapphire. October is Tourmaline. November is Topaz. December is Tanzanite.

This really depends on who you talk to. Thousands of years ago, people linked the stones with Zodiac signs but that has changed over time. These days, most people will use the one developed by popular jewelers associations which are as follows: January-Garnet, February-Amethyst, March-Aquamarine, April-Diamond, May-Emerald, June-Pearl, July-Ruby, August-Peridot, September-Sapphire, October-Opal, November-Citrine, and December-Blue Topaz.

Birth stones differ according to each month. The gemstone that corresponds to April is a diamond, while the birth stone for March is an aquamarine. June's birth stone is a pearl. The gemstone for July is a ruby. February's birth stone is a purple amethyst. December's birth stone is a sapphire.

January-garnet, February-amethyst, March-aquamarine, April-diamond, May-emerald, June-pearl or moonstone, July-ruby, August-peridot, September-sapphire, October-opal, November-yellow topaz, December-turquoise, blue zircon or tanzanite. The traditional birthstones date as far back at the fifteenth century.

I have no idea. Maybe blue gems for october. I never heard this before. I do not know about gems and its relation with birthday. Where does this come from ?
