M&M guyz are named after different colours. In the commercials they are named red, yellow, blue and orange. These colours refers to the different colours of the sweets in the M&M packets. Their names are the colors that they represent. Like the red one's name is Red. It's not really that difficult to figure if you just watch one of the commercials you are asking about...

"M" can be the Manufacturer's name. the second "M". can be the managing Director of the firm. These are the main "M"s, standing in an establishment. Hope these may be correct6.
