I think the most popular cartoon coloring books depend on the age of the child and the most popular toys at the time. My son loves Star Wars, Bakugan, and Iron man coloring books. My daughter's favorite coloring books are the Littelest Pet Shop ones, and she also has a Zhu Zhu Pet coloring book that she really likes.

I think it really depends on the age group. For little kids like preschoolers it would be something like Dora the Explorer and Diego and for elementary kids Spongebob and Disney characters.

The most popular cartoon books are the ones by Disney and Barbie. These are the ones kids are buying these days.
