Symptoms are pelvic pain, abnormal vaginal bleeding and sometimes back pain. Cervical cancer is sometimes inherited or caused from the Human Papo Virus. Just because your pap came back suspect doesn't automatically mean that you have cancer.

If one has cervical cancer there can be some vaginal bleeding other than menstruation, experiencing pain during sex, an unusual discharge, pain in the pelvic region, or there can be absolutely no symptoms at all. Many times the only way a patient knows they have cervical cancer is through a suspect PAP smear.

The symptoms of cervical cancer do not usually present themselves until after the cancer has spread. However, the symptoms are abnormal bleeding, pain during urination, pelvic pain, unusual heavy discharge, and bleeding after intercourse or pelvic exam.
