What are the symptoms of Mad Cow disease?

Mad cow disease, known medically as bovine spongiform encephalopathy, causes mental and mood changes, such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia, in its early stages. Later on in the disese, memory loss and problems with muscle control, such as unsteady gait, muscle spasms and muscle weakness, are common. Eventually, mad cow disease causes coma in most people.

Symptoms in humans can be depression, insomnia and anxiety. The person may appear to be in a confused state of mind. There may be muscle spasms, and some loss of muscle control. There may be blurred vision, and forgetfulness. As thing progress they may develop dementia. THis will most likely end in coma and death.
