Symptoms of Rhabdomyolysis are essentially the same symptoms of muscle death. These include pain at the spot of the affected muscle tissue, a dark or brownish-colored urine, weakness, fatigue, nausea, and lack of appetite. This condition usually needs to be treated by a specialist with a combination of medication and physical therapy.

Rhabdomyolysis is the rapid destruction of skeletal muscles which result in leakage of myoglobin into the urine. It is caused by severe burns, muscle trauma, extreme physical activity or by viruses. The common symptom of Rhabdomyolysis include muscle tenderness, dark, red or cola colored urine, stiffness and weakness.

As skeletal muscles break down, there may be muscle stiffness or muscle aches and pains, as well as weakness. There also may be a darkening of urine. In some cases, there are no symptoms at all.

Some of the symptoms of this are fatigue, muscle weakness, stiffness and/or pain, nausea, vomiting, fever and dark colored urine. It is very important that a doctor is notified if you feel any of these symptoms as they are not specific to Rhabomyolysis and may be caused by other conditions.

Rhabdomyolysis can change urine's color (dark, red, or cola-colored) and cause weakness, muscle stiffness, and muscle aching and tenderness. It could also include fatigue, joint pain, seizures, and weight gain.

It may not cause any syptoms at all, but some common symptoms include muscle aches and pains along with stiffness and muscle weakness. Severe muscle damage can occur in some cases. The urine can take on a redish or cola color as the break down of the blood in the muscle fibers is excreted into the urine.
