What are warts that look like mushrooms?

They may not be warts but skin tags. Warts are usually flat and are contagious because they are caused by a virus. Skin tags are an abnormal growth of cells. They would look like moles except these have a stalk with a bulbous head. Albeit some skin tags are flat.

Warts are caused by a variety of viruses. The type of virus determines the nature, shape and color of the wart. A dermatologist may be able to be more specific about the virus, though this is really not important. You can have the growth cauterized to remove it so that it does not reappear.
