Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote Fanshawe, A Tale, The House of Seven Gables, The Blithedale Romance, The Marble Faun as well as several short story collections including Twice Told Tales, Mosses from an Old Manse, and The Snow-Image and Other Twice-Told Tales. He is also the author of the following children's books: Grandfather's Chair, Biographical Stories for Children and Tanglewood Tales.
