You need a valve adjustment, or thicker oil. It wouldn't hurt to have the valves checked for damage. A quick fix would be thicker oil, so it coated it better. Im guessing someone did a bad tune up.

Most generally requires disassemly and repair of the top half of your engine, althou not using the proper fuel octane can cause this. Finding this information for your vehicle is most likely to be found in your owners manual.

disconnect the to repair the top half of the engine. If you don't use proper fuel octane, this what causes the problem. Thats why its best to look in the manual book to get the right one. Valve train will make noises if loose or broken. Take it to certified mechanic if you don't know how to adjust them yourself.

This could probably be cause by your valve being out of adjustment. The valve-train tends to make noise if it is loose or something is broken. Either take it to a mechanic or buy a repair manual and adjust them yourself. It will require a decent amount of mechanical know-how and some hand tools.

You can adjust your valves or timing to reduce or eliminate engine sounds. This work is often done by certified mechanics. An additive may help check the engine oil section.

First trying using a high octane gas instead of 87 then add a fuel additive to help improve and would go to a Synthetic Oil as well to use in this type of car. If you have tried this check your oil level as well in the car and try these before going to garage
