Hire a chimney sweep to make sure that the chimney is clean on the inside. Once clean, or if it is already clean, look inside to discern any damage inside. Using a power spray gun, you can spray a dry lock paint on the inside to seal it.

Leaks from your chimney can be very dangerous for you and your family. You should look in your local telephone book for some chimney repair companies or you can contact Home Depot and ask for some advice. Sometimes you can fix it yourself with celant.

Chimney leaks are easily fixed by using a mixture of mastic and concrete in a chaulking gun. The chimney leaks allow excess dead air into the chimney and could be a fire hazard.

I would call someone specialized in this area. I would not take it upon myself to try and fix this and cause more damage.

I would call somebody about your leaking chimney. Call either a carpenter, or who ever works on chimneys because I have no idea what they are called so call them.

I would first make sure you have the proper cover on the top to prevent rain and moisture from coming in.
