In most Jamaican grocery stores and now even Publix they sell a product called gripe water. You can mix it with some water. It relieves gas and constipation.

There are over-the-counter medications that can cure this problem. The main one is called Mylocon, but generics also exist. You can also try gently rubbing her tummy.

One possibility is that your child is not ready for solid foods, so go back to liquid foods. Another possibility is food allergies. For example, your child is drinking eating allergen prone foods like wheat, eggs, fish, or peanuts.

A product that is available over the counter called Mylicon drops will help with gas in infants. For the constipation, try moving her legs in a bicycle type movement to help get things moving. You can also try very gently massaging the baby's lower abdomen in a clockwise circular motion.
