Sometimes witholding food for 24 hours will clear it up. Feeding a bland diet of cooked rice and hamburger meat or chicken will help. Keep away from milk products. Some homeopathic treatments include plantain, ladys mantle, podophyllum 6 c, and Pet Alive Runnypoo Relief. See vet if no relief.

You can try a homemade bland diet -- white rice and boiled chicken. However, if this does not resolve the diarrhea, it may be necessary to have your pet dewormed. It is also very important to make sure your cat drinks enough water, it is easy to become dehydrated with diarrhea. If no improvement, see your vet.

This treatment for diarrhea consists of withholding food for twenty-four hours. Thereafter offer bland and easily digestible food such as baby food, cooked chicken or cooked eggs for three to five days. Your veterinarian can advise you on an intestinal and absorbent product that should also be given. Try to find the cause of the diarrhea and to eliminate it.

If the diarrhea is a common thing for your cat, I recommend taking the cat to the vet. There they can determine the cause by doing test. Also having a bowl disorder, food sensitivity, parasites, tumors, and exposed to toxic material can cause diarrhea in cats. If this is a one time thing then it may pass with in a few days.

If your cat has diarrhea it is probably the result of her diet. Make sure you don't give her any milk. If it is not her diet, then it could be worms. See a vet.
