You just have to be submissive to him because you married him and you made a vow not to leave him. So instead of making things worse by leaving him, do the things that you know that would please him the most and be sensitive to his needs. Make him feel like you made him feel for you before.

Try to remember the kinds of things you did for him and said for him when you first met. Also, sometimes it helps to think of him like he's your boyfriend or new romantic interest. Then you will have a new perspective on what he might like you to do, and in meeting those needs.

I haven't had a real interest in my wife for 30 years, married 40 plus. I live downstairs and she upstairs. I thinks sex is meaning less and boring, to much effort for so little. Were retired now and she hasn't left, and I guess thats OK

Figure out why he suddenly lost interest and work from there. There might be some reason and that's the one you should find out so you could make a plan on how to win him back. If you do everything and still he has no interest, then move on. Live your life and be at your best.

You can try to discuss with him the reason for his lack of interest. Perhaps there is a reason for his lack of interest, like stress, or maybe you have gained weight, etc. If that does not work, you could try marriage counseling. If all else fails, you may want to consider divorce.
