It is a comparatively large aquarium fish, which can grow up to 60cm and it can be accommodated only in a large aquarium. It is a calm fish with an attractive body. They prefer a mixture of hard and salt water, and they likes to live as a group. Since they are omnivorous they like to eat meaty food.

These sharks can grow to be exceptionally large (in excess of fourteen inches) and therefore will require a large tank. They will do well in large groups provided that they have adequate space, and will live for several years.

It is a very attractive fish, but beware it can grow up to 24 inches! It is recommended that you keep it with fish its own size(so it doesn't eat them). They also prefer hard water with a little salt added.
