What can you tell me about Catholics and suicide?

They frown upon it heavily. They believe that if you kill yourself you are sent to hell because you have no way to repent for taking your own life. So normally in Catholic funerals they don't reveal that fact.

From early times Christians have condemmed suicide. Catholics have accepted this view for the following reasons. The view is God has given to us our bodies as vessels and we should not do anything to harm them. Committing suicide would be killing our bodies and the bible says thou shall not kill.
