If your question is will they get along? Absolutely, happy as fish in a pond. If your question is will they reproduce? Maybe. Goldfish are a fairly easy to raise fish, reproducing in the spring by laying their eggs. If your pond is a little brackish and mud covered bottom your chance of reproduction increases.

Buy 6 or more goldfish and raise them together in a pond. Chances are good that you'll end up with at least one male and one female goldfish. The pond should be large enough so that the goldfish can survive outdoors during winter. The goldfish will naturally breed in the warm spring months. Feed the goldfish daily, keep-up with water-quality.

There is a very good chance that if you get a mix of goldfish you will have a male and female. Getting them to spawn will be a little more difficult though. Best chance to have is get a mix of fully mature goldfish, with a heavily planted pond.
