That you are probably feeding a lower quality dog food that has dyes and coloring in it. Chances are the kibble is red or orange. Am I correct? Find a natural pet store, switch to a grain free food, and you will never see orange poop again, not to mention the enormous health benefits.

As with people, an animals feces my have a different color if they sick. However, the color of the feces may also be changed by something that your pet has ingested. The dyes in various types of foods and even some toys that your pet may swallow can in turn, dye their feces.

Orange coloured poop is typically cause by liver disease. About 10% of dogs have hidden abnormalities. Having a blood work done every year is good because if disease caught in time can be treated before outward symptons occurs. I would suggest you to have diagnostic testing done to avoid further complications.
