What could be causing a popping noise on a 345 scout engine?

It could be the exhaust that is not working properly, this problem could mean that you should get it checked out. Problems with your exhaust system often can cause you not get optimal gas millage. If you have a friend that knows a lot about cars let them check it out for you to save you some cash.

could be a carberator adjustment causeing a backfire, where is the popping noise coming from? could be a mis fire, bad plug and or plug wire
