What could make both sides of your neck swell?

Swelling on either side of the neck could be something as simple as limpnodes(sp? ), or as serious as a sign of types of leukemia. Check with your doctor immediately.

Have had swollen glands and soar throat for 2 weeks no fever major headache benn on antibiotics for 10 days  add a comment

There are lymph glands on both sides of your neck that typically swell if you have a mouth, ear, or upper respiratory infection. The glands swell because they are working to fight the infection. Thyroid problems could also cause your neck to swell. Swelling on both sides of the neck should be seen by a doctor.

The most common cause of neck swelling is swollen glands. Swollen glands can signify everything from an allergy reaction to an infection. Ear infections can cause swollen necks, food allergies, sinus infections, strep infections,etc. Given the wealth of possible causes, a good course of action to keep your eye our for other symptoms and call your doctor.

Thank you very much i just had blood work and i had a swab no strep cbc and blood work was normal
