Put your shamrock plant in a sunny window that isn't too cool. Continue to water your plant so that it remains moist, but not drenched.

Shamrocks plants are easily as houseplants, they enjoy bright indirect sunlight. Since shamrocks grow from a bulb, they enjoy a period of dormancy every year. During the winter months trim back the plants brown leaves, give the plant very little water, and place it in a cool place it can go dormant for a month or two.

I pull off the dead stems. Water and leave in light. It does grow throughout the year and in the summer months I have some flowers. I just keep a eye on the dead pieces. Do not put in the sun.

The biggest thing is to make sure you bring it in and do not put it too close to a cold window pane.

Keep it away from a cold draft from a window or a door make sure it gets plenty of light sunlight is important but light in general is what means life or death for the plant itself.
