English bulldogs are Brachycephalic (smushy nosed!) which means they have a host of breathing issues that come with them. They don't do well in extreme weathers either. They also can't give birth naturally so if you are buying to breed it will be more costly. They are messy but fun!

English bulldogs require more maintenance than other breeds. A genetic problem in the breed is cherry eye - which is the swelling of the gland in the inner eyelid. They are also very sensitive to temperature, they don't do well in hot weather due to breathing problems.

Even if you have made your decision it's good for you to keep in mind his stubbornness. When being fed, children and other pets should be away. The breed has a tendency for getting sick -so be aware. Despite those inconveniences, he is a kind dog.

English bulldogs are known to have a lot of health problems so go into it knowing that it will need to be taken to the vet frequently and a bit of money may need to be put into it to keep it healthy. They are very happy, playful dogs but it may be difficult to get it to exercise.

English Bulldogs tend to have a long-term issue with chewing. If you live in a warm climate you need to keep in mind that these dogs have problems breathing in very warm weather. Be sure to do your research and buy from an ethical breeder.

You must consider that these dogs need to do exercize because they tend to gain weight with the age. They are very good dogs with children and they do not like to be alone so, you should think you must have time for be with it or maybe to have another dog. You must take care of their skin
