Endometriosis if left on its own can become an infection of scar tissue inside the uterus. Usually occurring after a C-section. If checked regularly by a physician this is just normal and will heal in time but leave a scar.

Endometriosis, which is the presence of uterine tissue outside of the body of the uterus, tends to produce a great deal of fibrous tissue growth, known as a scar.

It can cause many complications if it is allowed to get out of control. Scar tissue can prevent pregnancy by not allowing the embryo to implant. It can also cause problems with the bowels.

Scar tissue usually appears after healing of injury. That part of scar cannot do its function properly and usually tend to be more "sticky". it can happen too after C section. Endometriosis is a tissue of endometrium (most inner layer of uterus) outside endometrium itself (e.g in overium) and can cause a bad premenstrual syndrome.

Endometriosis if left untreated can result in scar tissue building up inside the uterus, cervis and even on and around other organs close to the uterus. Endometriosis is when the linning of the uterus grows in other parts of the body. If it is not treated and or removed you can experience pain.
