First thing is, you need a permit. You need to get a permit from the city to run a business on the street or sidewalk. Secondly, there are health codes and licensing you need. Lastly, you need equipment and inventory. It's not as simple as most think. Good luck!

You need a vendor's license. You need a certificate of insurability to verify that you are covered in case of accident or incident. You need a certificate from the Board of Health to show your establishment has been inspected and pass code. You should get a medical exam; people with certain communicable diseases should not work in the food industry.

First off, how much does a street permit cost, and also, what is the competition like in the area you want to work.

The first thing to note is that if you eat vending hot dogs you are eating a highly artificial food with no nutritional value. These foods are really bad for your body. A lot of undesirable and nasty parts are used to make these "foods" which contain chemicals and high levels of fat.
