First we have to start with the spelling of it, which is incorrect. It should be spelled "C'est la vie" not "C'eist la vie. " This is a very common expression in the French language, and it translates to the equally common English saying "That's life. " (The French also say sometimes "C'est l'amour" ("That's love. ")

C'est la vie is French sentence which means that is life. It is used the same way as English speakers say stuff happens and you can do nothing about it.
