It is important to notice the bark of a tree after finding brown leaves. Brown leaves can be simply sun damage to lack of nutrients. The bark of a tree can assist in identifying the core problem.

Brown edges on the leaves of a tree (or plant) indicate that the tree is not getting enough water. This could be caused by lack of rainfall, competing trees, a shallow root system, soil that does not retain water, poor drainage, or damage somewhere in the root system itself. In the U.S., Consult your County Extension Agent for help.

The tree isn't damaged, it is only stressed and dry. You can help the tree by watering it, and if it is a baby tree try to give it shade.

This could just mean that the leaves you are looking at are old and getting ready to fall off. If the tree is growing leaves that are green at first, but after time and sun, they turn brown, it is normal. It could be sick if they grown brown.

Brown edges (as opposed to all-brown leaves) mean that the tree isn't getting enough water. Several things can cause inadequate water supply, including too little rainfall, too high salt content in the soil or soil that doesn't hold water. The tree may have root damage or could be root-bound.

There are a number of reasons that tree leaves might be discolored. The best way to understand why the tree appears this way is to determine what kind of tree it is and to describe fully what is happening to it. Once you have this information, consult with local nurseries or agricultural extensions services in your state for an answer.

In my opinion, there is nothing related with the tree itself, but the tree leaves might be sick due to lack of water and existing worms.Climate change can also cause brown edges. That is very common and you do not need overeact and think that much.Additionally leaves also have their life cycles.

Brown edges on tree leaves generally indicate that a tree is not receiving enough water and it is susceptible now to the hot beating sun which burns the leaf starting at the edges.
