What does it mean to be a good American?

A "good" American is someone who is shows respect for our country, is an educated voter and follows the laws. A good American would never protest by inflicting damage on the flag or disrespect the soldiers who protect our country.

Opinions vary but I think a good American is someone who stays up to date with current events and makes informed and wise voting decisions.

To be a good American, means taking the time out to partake in activities that create a positive impact on the country at large. This could include things like voting in elections, creating job opportunities for others, donating to charity or even something as simple as helping an elderly person in your community.
