Foods that are from plant sources make up the biggest portion of this diet. This is the ideal diet for most healthy adults and it can be altered. The foods are whole grains, cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, root vegetables, dried peas and beans and apples. Children can be given this diet with a few changes.

Olive oil, lots of fresh fruits, fresh veggies, whole grains, fish and poultry. You can also have red wine on this diet.
