The sixteenth Century brought changes to the New World. Europe quickly stepped up the process of colonization and creating settlements along the East Coast including Virginia, New York and New England. The colony of Jamestown was met with some resistance as the cash crop of American began exporting Tobacco.

The world totally changed, native populations were driven from their lands, enslaved, and exterminated. New technologies, cultures, economic systems, ethnic groups and diseases were introduced altering completely the lives of the population.
