If you are looking for the lowest calories, there is a beer out by Anheuser Busch that only has 55 calories. That being said, some beers have 3-4 times that amount. Wine has about 150 a serviing.

A pint of beer has about 145-150 calories (100 if light beer). For a lower-calorie wine, go for dry rather than sweet; the average glass of red or white wine has 100-106 calories, whereas a sweet dessert wine can have up to 200 calories.

Most beers have more calories than most wines because beer contains more carbohydrates. Calories in wine are mainly from the alcohol. Beer has calories from alcohol as well as from the carbohydrates produced in the malting process. However, some light beers may have fewer calories than some sweet wines, etc.

The calories depends on the quantity and type of beer. A 12 ounce of beer has 146 calories, a 12-ounces light beer has 100 calories, while 3. 5 ounces of average wine has about 70 calories per glass.

Wine has more calories then beer. Wine has a high sugar content, where beer does not. You can find beers with calorie count as low as 60 calories per can, but I'm not saying they are tasty.
