This is also known as silvadene. In case of ingestion, or contact with the eyes, it is recommended you seek medical attention immediately.

If you get silver sulfadiazine in your mouth you should not swallow, best thing to do would be to spit it out and wash your mouth with a lot of water, after that drink milk and go see a doctor. If it gets in your eyes wash them out good with water and go see a doctor.

It could be really dangerous. If you've experienced a chemical reaction you should be reporting it right away to a health federal agency. Sometimes it can produce a very harmful chemical reaction and every experience is different to the person who has been around this or has experienced this in any way.

For your eyes, remove any contact lenses, and seek medical attention. If injested, seek medical attention and remove any tight clothing from neck. This advice is for the pure compound, it may not be as severe if in a diluted form. You should call your doctor if you have any doubts or questions.
