1.5v and 0.8v is the signal voltage that is used. agp 2.0 (also called AGP 4x) is using 1.5v, agp 3.0 and 3.5 (also called AGP 8x) are using 0.8v

AGP is shorthand for Accelerated Graphics Port. The 1.5v and .8v refers to the voltage required for the graphics card installed. For gaming, a larger graphics card needs higher voltage.

They are different video cards. You need to know witch card your motherboard will accept, 1.5 volt or 0.8 volt. Newer systems use PCIe instead of AGP cards.

1.5 agp is a type of card needed in some mother boards to work properly, and the .8v agp is the voltage amount that is required to run the board. Not all agp cards are a 1.5, be careful when you when inserting a new one, because if its not 1.5v it could damage your mother board and graphics card!
