Microwave a chopped and peeled Bramley apple in a covered dish on full power for a couple of minutes. Mash it up with a fork and add Splenda to taste. You can also stir in spices as desired.

Apples are naturally endowed with sugar, although honey is a very useful substitute. The honey may be diluted with a bit of water if desired.

You can try an artifical sweetener like Splenda or Equal or Sweet and Low. Each of these is not sugar, but can provide some sweetness to applesauce. Make sure you add after cooking!

There are three ways to sweeten applesauce without sugar. You can add honey to the applesauce a little at a time until it is sweeter. You can add a little apple juice to improve the flavor. The best way is to serve the unsweetened applesauce cold. It improves the flavor.
