Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken," is a poem about personal choice and individualism. Highly popular and often quoted, its final lines, Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference are poignant, yet ambiguous enough to suit many occasions.

Pick up a copy of "Oh The Places You'll Go" by Theodore Geisel (Dr. Seuss). Get a hardcover copy (Amazon) for your daughter. It's the best graduation poem ever and speaks to anyone and everyone about to set out on a life adventure. Most bookstore have it in the spring, as it is a popular grad gift.
