A receiver hitch is a car accessory. A heavy towing apparatus for use at the back of a car or small truck. Used for towing caravans or broken-down cars, it comes in a variety of sizes, shapes and weight-pulling abilities. It is the receiver part of the apparatus, the other having a heavy-duty insertion pin.
