All males should wear suits while all females should wear formal clothing as suits or dresses. Both should be dressed respectively for the church and occasion. No one should be wearing any type of revealing clothing.

There is no doubt that dress codes have become more relaxed in church and social events. But for important occasions such as a dedication in church, females would be wise wearing modest dresses, or pant suits, and males should always opt for at the very least dress shirt and pants.

These days, dress is much more casual than it used to be. Still, for a ceremony in church, it would be a good idea to look your best; this is an important occasion for your nephew. Men should a jacket and tie, ladies a conservative dress, and children their "Sunday best."

If you are a man, then a suite would be appropriate. It is mass, and either way, you should not walk in with anything less than a formal shirt and khaki pants. Ask around to other relatives. If you are a woman, a skirt or dress is appropriate. Flats would probably be better as heels make a lot of noise.

As the baby's parents what they suggest. Church attire is quite different today than it was even 20 years ago. Neat and conservative is always appropriate.

Men should wear a suit and tie or a nice sports jacket with a dressy shirt. Women should wear either a dress (not too fancy) or a suit or pants suit.
