Boxers a lot of times get cauliflower ear. A cauliflower ear results from repeated injuries to the soft material that makes up your outer ear. The ear can take the shape of a cauliflower.

It is when the ear becomes disfigured due to the formation of fibrous tissue. This is usually the result of an injury such as the ones boxers and wrestlers often suffer. It is called cauliflower ear because the ear looks like a head of cauliflower.
