COPD means Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease which is a group of lung disorders such as Asthma, Emphysema, Bronchitis and others. It is a disease that affects airway passages and alveoli which makes it hard for you to breath. These diseases are mostly caused by smoking, air pollution, and are hereditary.

COPD is a chronic disease. It stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The disease is irreversible compared to asthma. It is a disease among the smoker. They are two different spectrums which are called 'pink puffer' and 'blue bloater'. They usually become dependent on oxygen at the end of their lives.
