What is employee leasing?

It is, in a nutshell, a temp agency that finds 'permanent' personnel. Small companies with inadequate HR and payroll services reach out to to employee leasers to help find qualified-workers.

Employee leasing is an emerging field where in top management of the company asks other company to look into payroll,benefits,HR issues and risk management,Employee training and development,Recruitment and so on in order to narrow down their focus.

"Employee leasing" means, that employees are leased ("rented") to clients for a specific time agreed in the contract. Usually this done by Human Resource agencies, who receive a certain percentage of the employee's salary in return as their commission. Normally these are short term contracts. The employer is the agency!

Employees leasing is somewhat like a tempory worker but the difference is permanecy. A company that is wanting to pursue a leasing employee will first contact a professional employee organization.
