Make sure you live in an area which it is hot and people eat a lot fo ice cream. get a business permit before you start working. If you hire people make sure they have no criminal record.

Go to your local bank and pick up a cd business planning packet from them. The CD will wall you through all kinds of questions that will help you create a budget, to do list and marketing strategies. At the end of the process you have a business plan.

If you are going to be the person actually drving the truck make sure you are very personable and friendly. It would also help to know the neighborhoods that have the most children you can sell the ice cream to.

Remember when you stake your business that you will most likely be made to purchase the Ice Cream that the truck company sells and resell it. This can be a pricey addition to the overload of gas time and effort.
