The climate of Japan is temperate, however, there are great differences between the temperatures in the north and the south. The north experiences heavy snows and the south is subtropical. Japan is also humid. The rainy season is in June. There are two ocean currents which affect Japan. One is a cold current and the other is a warm current.

Japan has four season. Spring and Fall are mild and relatively dry. Summertime is rainy and you can expect high humidity between July and August. Wintertime is cold and snowy.
