Lamium is a term, used to describe the genus of about 50 species of flowers. Lamiums are hardy plants which typically do not succumb to frost conditions, and can thrive in a variety os soil conditions. The plants come in a variety of flower colors, which vary based on teh time of year the invividual plant grows during.

Lamium is of' the old world herbs' as it is referred to. Called deadnettles also and is toxic.This plant prefers semi shaded areas with well drained soil.Because of it's toxic levels one should be careful when using it.

It is a kind of plant. There are about 50 species of flowering plants in this family, called Lamiaceae. They are an herbaceous plants native to Europe, Asia, and north Africa but can be found all over the world in temperate climates. They handle frost well and like moist soil.
