Make an "s" shape by holding your right clenched with the thumb upwards. Make it then in to a "c" shape by half unclenching your right hand again, while still keeping the thumb at the top. It seems to represent the action of milking a cow by squeezing and unsqueezing the hand

To make the sign for "milk," form a "C" with your hand, as if holding a cup, and then close it to a fist with your thumb on top. It's like making a "C" and "S" in sign language, but at a 90 degree angle. The gesture is supposed to look like the act of milking a cow.

Make the motion of milking a cow. With one hand, act like you are squeezing milk from a cow, squeezing your fist. This is an easy sign for babies to learn.
