Remission is always a possibility so never expect an exact number. Many variables can change any cancer. Each person and each disease is unique as well as any medical outcome.

For non-Hodgkins lymphoma, 51% diagnosed will live for at least 5 years and 45% for at least 10 years. For Hodgkins lymphoma, 85% will live at least 5 years.

Life expectancy varies tremendously based on the severity of the cancer. If your lymphoma was caught early, you have a much better chance of survival than someone who has stage four lymphoma, which is usually terminal. Only a doctor can accurately predict an average life expectancy.

For Hodgkins Lymphoma, 85% live for 5 years after the diagnosis. Non-Hodgkins lymphoma patients is 63% after 5 years. With proper treatment, survival rates can be this high.
