What is the best anti-inflammatory medicine?

Traditional over the counter NSAIDs containing ibuprofen get my vote. I have fibromyalgia and have been using them for years and they still do the job for me.

Every anti-inflammatory has side effects so saying which one is best is difficult. I can say that aspirin is the better of all of them but bleeding in the stomach and/or bruising is still a possibility. BenGay or any thing you can apply to the skin can help and cold packs work with little side effects

The best is otc nsaids. Better known as Over-the-Counter (no prescription necessary) Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. Corticosteroids also work, but require a physician consultation, and a prescription. Aspirin, Ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin), Naproxen Sodium (Aleve), and acetominophen (Tylenol and Panadol). Aspirin is quite inexpensive, and has been around for many years. All of these medications do have side effects.

NSAID's, non-steroidical anti-inflammotry drugs (e. g. Ibuprofen), these medicin will both stop the fever, release you from having that much hurt, and are of course also anti-inflammatory as the name says. In the research it has also been proofed that these medicin are quite save, to most of the people.

Most doctors recommend ibuprophin, oterwise known as motrin. It can be obtained over the counter or stronger doses with a prescription. It is extemely helpful for gout and osteo arthritis.
